Alex Abelson
Alex Abelson is a video artist and poet living in Brooklyn, NY. His work deals with the individual in both physical and psychological public space. With an understated sense of humor, an appreciation for the absurd, and a dedication to landscape, Abelson’s work challenges the conventions which dictate daily behavior. His work has been shown by the Museum of Pocket Art (Portland, OR), and the Thompkins Square Library Gallery (New York, NY). His writing has been published by 20012 (Brooklyn, NY), and Deep Leap (San Francisco, CA). He is an MFA Candidate at the Pratt Institute.
