Exploring the idea of simplicity, precise measurements are underlined in the creative visual work of the artist. Constructively and incessantly probing at the possibilities of different media and the visual language. At its most fundamental level the investigative part of the work is evident from the application of pigments, glues and resins, materials that combine to create a piece, a simple object. An object formed from an introspective search and influenced byscience and philosophy, inspired by physics and cosmology; these have provided the artist a ground for inquiry. For the artist, it is a driving force to investigate the possibility of expressing the elements of Nature through the work. As a matter of fact, it is “the ground” that forms a foundation from where to part; scaffolding underneath every piece. When the artist is successful at this investigation, the work speaks for itself.
