Adrienne Reynolds
I work in drawing, painting and sculpture often mixing elements of each.
Thematically I am dealing with ideas of connection and disconnection. I use imagery based on nature, architecture and urban environments which serve to explore emotional, psychic and physical spaces in an increasingly fragmented and hybridized world
Born in Minnesota Adrienne splits her time between New York City and Toronto, Canada. She has shown in Chile, Mexico, Serbia, Brazil, Toronto and New York City. She has a Masters in Fine Arts from Parsons (2008) and is an Associate of the Ontario College of Art and Design (1991). Grants/scholarships include Ontario Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts, the Parsons Deans Graduate Scholarship and the LCU Foundation grant. She is currently part-time faculty at Parsons, the New School for Design.
