Aaron Schraeter
My developing body of work is centered around creating a diary of images and paintings that act as a pictorial vocabulary. Through images, and the handling of paint, I aim to communicate ideas, feelings, and metaphor, that I would otherwise have no means of explaining verbally. They are about being an artist, a skeptic, and a citizen of the fastest evolving society in the history of the world. It is my investigation, and means of philosophizing my way through contemporary issues that surround us personally, politically, and spiritually.
