John Bock: Stapelung

P.S.1 is proud to present Stapelung (Stack, 2007), a five-channel video sculpture by the performance artist and sculptor John Bock. Each monitor plays a different film; a compendium of Bock’s highly choreographed, absurdist films, including Meechhouse (2002), FoetusGott...in...MeMMe (2002), NogoJones Dandy (2002), Wühl um die Klumpen (2002), and Sechser Tragerl Sushi Aschai Periskop quatscht Schwamerl – Wie kann man das Gobu Ten Udong mäßig bekleben (2004). The installation will be on view at P.S.1 from October 21, 2007 through January 7, 2008.
