Go behind the scenes with MOS principal Hilary Sample as they prepare for the June 28 unveiling of afterparty, the winning design of the 2009 MoMA/P.S.1 Young Architects Program competition.

Envisioned as an "urban shelter," afterparty is a series of tall, hut-like "chimneys" that use induction to draw heat upward, creating a cooling escape at the heart of P.S.1's Warm Up music series (beginning July 4).
