For the third consecutive year, MoMA PS1 commissions a new work by an upcoming international artist. In her inaugural US solo project, Anne Imhof (German, born 1978) works with a group of performers, composers, and lawyers, over the course of two days, to reveal the relations between dominance and submission and slowness and passivity through structural motifs in space. The result is a picture gradually emerging in time.
Anne Imhof, DEAL, 2015 is a MoMA PS1 Commission as part of Sunday Sessions.
With special thanks to Goethe-Institut.
