Mike Kelley and Class: Rhea Anastas, Thomas Crow, and John Miller

Art historians Rhea Anastas and Thomas Crow join artist John Miller and MoMA PS1 curator Peter Eleey to consider class in Kelley’s work, and the way it functions both as a symptom and indicator of his relationships to institutions, feminist politics, and personal identity.
Rhea Anastas directs the M.A. Art and Curatorial Practices in the Public Sphere at the Roski School of Art and Design, University of Southern California. Thomas Crow is Provostial Fellow and the Rosalie Solow Professor of Modern Art at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. John Miller is an artist, writer and Professor of Professional Practice in Barnard College's Art History Department.
The music and performance portion of Mike Kelley is organized by guest curator Mark Beasley, with Jenny Schlenzka, Associate Curator, and Eliza Ryan, former Assistant Curator, MoMA PS1.
